Stitching Up A Storm!

Its been a very long time since I have posted anything on my blog as I kind of lost my way and wasn't sure that anyone was really interested in it, but I've had a break and thought I would give it another go! So this is a start, a few pictures of some new frames I have worked on. Hopefully I will be more organised and get blogging on some of the other things that keep me occupied like my allotment, garden and baking. See you soon. :-)

Taking the Plunge II

I have just been down to Taking the Plunge in Whitstable to give them some new stock and couldn't resist taking some pictures as the shop is looking lovely after their refurb. Its lovely and fresh and has a great seaside feel. Its full of nice retro and unusual bits and pieces, I always see something I want. If you have been there, let me know what you think?

Lovely Jubilee

I know this is all old news but I had to add these photos of our school's Jubilee Party which was a lovely event. The kids had a competition to design the cakes for the event and I think they did a great job. With all this red blue and white you can't help but smile, don't you think? The ice-cream van on site helped too!

Lenham Village Market

Just made a few new sets of earrings for Lenham Farmers Market tomorrow. Lets hope these sunny little numbers keep the sun on our side, I think I have had enough wind and rain for now. Hope to see anyone from Kent there from 9.00am till 1.00pm.

Beautiful Stellenbosch

Another lovely day in Africa! I have recently got back from a trip to lovely Cape Town to see my family. This was a day out to Stellenbosch to do a bit of wine tasting and a bit of wine purchasing! Had a lovely day and had some incredible wines, wish I had bought more. Fortunately we made a quick trip to Mooiberge Farm Stall to top up what we left out at the vineyards. This is a beautiful part of the world and I wish I had more time to explore further, maybe next time.........

Sissinghurst Castle Farmers Market

Just another lovely day at Sissinghurst Castle Farmers Market. I really enjoyed this market as it's in such a lovely setting that it didn't feel like work.

Blooming Blossom

The cherry blossoms are bursting. This is my favourite part of spring, well that's not strictly true, tulips and lambs are right up there too. After making some spring inspired earrings I thought I would see what Folksy Finds for blossoming spring there were out there, and I found all these lovelies.
Let me know what you think.......

Springtime!

What more could you ask for from a spring day. Cherry blossom, a thunderstorm and sunshine, and all this from my kitchen window.
Kettle on feet up!
